Pottery Barn OceanFund for GreenWave


 The Project

Team Members: Design by Melanie Sun, Editing by Anna Payawal, Creative Directing by Andrea Drake
The Brief: Through a new initiative called the Pottery Barn OceanFund, we donated a portion of our sales for the month of May to a nonprofit called GreenWave. Develop a 360 Campaign to drive awareness for GreenWave and raise funds.
Initial Concepting: Our Brand President, Marta Benson heard about an incredible company called GreenWave that works with coastal farmers and fishermen to sequester carbon from our oceans.
The Process: The science and tech behind carbon sequestering was foreign to me, and required a ton of research in order to stay close to this nonprofit’s mission before writing. Develop the project with the designers in Figma. Review the 360 assets, taking them through multiple rounds with key stakeholders: The Creative Director, Brand Vice President, E-Commerce Manager, and Digital Creative leaders. Once approved by our internal team, the final packet is sent to GreenWave’s team for external review. Get approval from all stakeholders, upload to site via Jira. Take the landed site experience and distill into email, social, and a press packet.
